Sponging
ceramics before putting them into the kiln...
Before putting ceramics into the kiln, when they are dry enough
(but not completely) I have to make their surface smooth and even and
correct slight anomalies of the surface. With
special tools and sponge I remove any roughness.
Then ceramics are left to dry completely and then comes first
firing. But before first firing let's take a look at some special ways of making
ceramics...
